About the Program

The GSH Junior Spring League is designed for players ready to experience team golf in a fun, lightly competitive environment. Modeled after PGA Jr. League—but with a stronger community feel—this program serves as the perfect bridge between casual play and structured tournament golf.

Think of it as the Little League or AYSO of junior golf—a place where players learn to compete, grow as teammates, and prepare for the next step in their golf journey.

What to Expect

Each week includes:

  • One 9-hole team match (weekdays at Westdrift)

  • One practice session (weekends at The Hub)

  • If weather impacts play, sessions may be adjusted to The Hub—schedule TBD

Match Details – Weekdays

When: Monday–Thursday, 4:00–6:00 PM
Where: Westdrift Golf Course

Players will compete in team-based formats designed to build on-course confidence, decision-making, and pace of play.

(Exact times will be confirmed prior to the start of the program.)

Practice Details – Weekends

Location: The GSH Hub (Indoor Facility)
15705 Condon Ave, Unit D2
Lawndale, CA 90260

When: Saturday or Sunday in the 1:00–5:00 PM window

Practices focus on skill development, match preparation, and mental game training.

Match Formats (Based on Age & Experience)

  • Experienced players: Best Ball or 2-player scramble

  • Younger players: 4-player scramble

Team Experience

  • Friend pairing requests welcome and accommodated whenever possible

Important Program Notes

  • Hydration & Snacks: Players must bring their own water and snacks

  • Equipment: Players must bring their own clubs and be able to carry them during matches

Development Focus

  • Rules and etiquette

  • Course management

  • Mental game fundamentals

  • Pre-shot and post-shot routines
